ASG loves Firebelly Design, so when they asked me to participate in their first ever design camp, I jumped at the chance. The week before camp I was busy making 60 handmade and hand sewn journals. During camp I gave a little demo on how to make your own envelopes and encouraged everyone to help me keep the art of letter writing alive. The camp was a huge success with guests like Rick Valicenti, Mike Perry and Delicious Design League sharing their work and expertise with all of us. My hat's off to the Firebelly team for pulling off a task that was merely an idea 7 months ago, you guys rock!

Hello Lucky readers, we are so happy you came! We couldn't be more excited about our card catalog card being featured in the "standout local designers" section of Lucky Chicago! What an honor! Card Catalog is actually our very first product and sometimes mistakenly referred to as the "art school girl card". Because I am one of those strange people who read magazines backwards, I love that we are on the very last page! Thank you Anna and Lucky Mag!!!

ANOUNCING: ASG Editions
Being in a creative field, I have the pleasure to meet and work with some of Chicago’s most talented people. The decision to publish my friends’ and associates’ work just makes good sense. Because I love art that reveals the maker, I chose to print these art pieces in the medium of letterpress. Former colleague, and skilled pressman Sam Wilder will be doing all of the printing for this series. Keep your eyes peeled for 12 different prints by: Sun Young Park, Ryan Thurlwell, Dave Menard, Ann Moffett, John Vogl, Nako Okubo, Molly Carter, Esther Ramirez, Andrea Everman, Dawn Hancock, Drew Garza and myself.
